At Children's Medical Center

Diagnoses, treatment and management of endocrine disorders

What is the endocrine system?

The endocrine system is a collection of glands and organs that control body processes that happen slowly, like growth. The endocrine system regulates the release of hormones that influence almost every function of our bodies, from cell development to organ function to moods.

The Endocrinology Center at Children's offers state-of-the-art diagnoses, treatment and management of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, growth and other endocrine-based conditions.

Our staff includes board-certified pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, educators, dietitians, social workers and pharmacists who specialize in helping kids with endocrine problems.

A referral to our clinic can only be made through your doctor.
