Stop by the Barnyard at the State Fair
With all of the recent news about swine flu at Children's, it'd be easy to forget that Children's is sponsoring a petting zoo full of friendly swine and other animals at the Texas State Fair — the Children's Medical Center Barnyard. Plenty of fairgoers have remembered the Barnyard in 2009 and once again made it a family favorite at the State Fair.
The Barnyard, which features exotic animal exhibits in addition to the petting zoo, will be open until the conclusion of the State Fair on Sunday, Oct. 18. If you go, please share your family pictures at www.childrens.com/barnyard. One lucky entrant will win an HD Flip cam.
