Welcome to the Women's Auxiliary
About the Women's Auxiliary
The Women's Auxiliary is a non-profit organization established in 1962 by leaders in our community with a mission to render efficient and effective service to all units of Children's Medical Center. Our members have been dedicated ambassadors of Children's for the past 45 years and have supported Children's in its goal to make life better for children.
The Women's Auxiliary hosts meetings for its members to provide education about pediatric health issues. In addition, the Women's Auxiliary implements projects at the hospital to support the Children's staff and patients, such as decorating Children's for the holidays, providing New Year's Eve and Mother's Day weekend dinners to patients and staff, and providing Staff Appreciation meals and snacks throughout the year. The members also are philanthropic leaders who host several annual fundraising events and projects that have become wonderful Dallas traditions. Some of these include Breakfast with Santa, hosted in conjunction with the Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children's Parade; The Children's Medical Center gift shop, located at Children's; greeting and contribution cards featuring art created by patients of Children's; the Auxiliary cookbook entitled The Collection, Cures for the Common Cuisine, which can be purchased online and is available to Auxiliary members at the member price of six cookbooks for $80 by contacting Leslie Baker; and Family Night at Six Flags.

The Women's Auxiliary is approximately 820 women strong. Women dedicated to supporting Children's and the children of our community are welcome members of the Auxiliary.
