John Garcia, a 10-year-old patient from Longview, holds the NASCAR Nextel Cup racing helmet he designed along with Denny Hamlin, the #11 driver for the FedEx Chevrolet NASCAR Nextel Cup team. The event was sponsored by FedEx Kinko's in the Dallas Pavilion at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Hamlin wore the helmet for all Nextel Cup activities the weekend of Nov. 2-4 at the Texas Motor Speedway. FedEx Kinko's presented a $25,000 donation to Children's at the event, which also included a FedEx race car for patients to inspect, mini racing helmets to decorate and a remote-controlled car track.
