2009 Children Helping Children Junior Singles Tennis Tournament

On Oct. 3-4, tennis players will meet on the courts at High Point Tennis Center in Plano, Texas to play in the 19th annual Children Helping Children Junior Singles Tennis tournament. The event, which was named among the top 20 largest fundraising events in the Metroplex by Dallas Business Journal, benefits the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center. Thanks to the support of many player participants and generous sponsors, the event has raised close to $2.2 million in its 18-year history.

Register for the tournament

Registration for the tournament is now open. The tournament ID# is 800016909. No entries will be accepted by telephone or without payment. The tournament is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association and the USTA Texas Section. Call High Point Tennis Center at 972-941-7170 for additional tournament information.

Register to be a fundraiser

Register to raise funds and then create your own fundraising page to send to family and friends. The money you help raise will support the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The CCBD is nationally recognized for its treatment programs for children with cancer, sickle cell, blood disorders and other diseases.

A dinner and silent auction begin the festivities at the Kickoff Pary and Auction on Friday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Dallas - Frisco/Hotel, Convention Center and Spa, 7600 John Q. Hammons Dr. in Frisco. Prizes for funds collected will be awarded that evening. The top three boy and girl fundraisers will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m.
