Women's Auxiliary
President's Welcome

The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center has an outstanding history of over 45 years of supporting Children's in its mission to make life better for children. Since 1962, the Auxiliary has raised over $13 million and contributed innumerable volunteer hours -- all with a passion and love for Children's. I am very honored to work alongside our members, and the women before us, who have worked tirelessly for this vital resource in our community.

As we continue to be guided by our five-year strategic plan coinciding with Children's 100th anniversary in 2013, Auxiliary members are charged with serving as dedicated ambassadors of Children's. We are proud to support Children's, the only pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in the Southwest. The dedication and generosity of our membership and our community is awesome and inspiring.

The year ahead promises and abundance of opportunities for our membes and our community to support our mission. We will:

• Continue to raise money to support critical care and other crucial needs in the hospital through our many Fundraising Events and Programs.
• Support families with children in the hospital and the dedicated hospital staff and employees through our Annual Activities and Projects.
  
• Ensure that our members are engaged and informed with interesting Membership Meetings, special events, volunteer opportunities, e-mail updates, online newsletters, and our Auxiliary web site.
• Serve as ambassadors for Children's, raising awareness and goodwill in our communities.
