Give Time

Volunteers are an important part of the Children's healthcare team. Each day, volunteers contribute significantly to the hospital's mission to make life better for children. They enable us to multiply our resources to exceed the needs of our patients and their families.

Children's strives to create an environment encouraging individuals from all areas of the community to donate their time and talent and there are volunteer opportunities. You can play with patients in the hospital's playrooms or sit and rock them in their rooms.

You can work in the emergency center, the pediatric ICU or the gift shop. You can be an office angel or work at the information desk. Whatever your talents, we can find a way to put your volunteer spirit to work at Children's.

Greatest need: Weekday volunteers to work approximately three-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Click here to obtain an application. If you have further questions please contact us at volunteer_services@childrens.com or call 214-456-6388.
