2009 Fundraising Events
As a private, not-for-profit academic pediatric hospital, Children's Medical Center relies on the generosity of the community to help fulfill its mission to make life better for children. Ongoing sponsor campaigns and special events coordinated through Children's Miracle Network (CMN) help raise important dollars to ensure that Children's Medical Center can meet the growing needs for advanced pediatric care for all children in North Texas.
Children's Miracle Network extends to all of its sponsors and event organizers, and to each of their loyal and gracious customers, a sincere thank you for making miracles happen every day through this amazing program.

Produce for Kids and Kroger are teaming up to create miracles for kids. All funds directly benefit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. From June 3-30 you can support Children’s Medical Center when you buy designated fresh produce items sold at Dallas area Kroger stores. Produce for Kids promotes healthy lifestyles for children by educating kids and parents about the benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables while also supporting worthy children’s causes, such as the Children’s Medical Center.

Kroger Balloon Icon Campaign

Kroger has been a supporter of Children’s Miracle Network since 1995. During the month of June, Kroger will hold its annual balloon icon campaign. In exchange for purchasing a $1 Miracle Balloon, customers will receive a $1 off coupon for a rotisserie chicken. Stop by any Dallas area Kroger location and don’t forget to support Children’s Medical Center.

Take strides to help cure pediatric cancer. Six Flags Over Texas is hosting the second annual walk-a-thon to benefit the patients cared for at Children's Medical Center and Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. Anyone is welcome to participate. "A Walk in the Park" helps provide the resources necessary for pediatric cance patients to receive world-class treatment close to home. Ace Hardware "Racing for a Miracle" Balloon Icon Campaign

Drop by your local Dallas area Ace Hardware to pick up your summer lawn supplies and donate to Children’s Medical Center during the month of August. Balloon icons are $1. The campaign coincides with a partnership between the Ace Foundation and Stanley Tools “Racing for a Miracle.” The culmination of the Racing for a Miracle partnership happens August 21 and 22 in Bristol, Tennessee. If Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler take the checkered flag, Stanley Tools will donate $500,000 and $1,000,000 respectively to Children’s Miracle Network through the Ace Foundation.
