Instructor Course

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, the accredited sponsor, is jointly sponsoring the PALS Provider Course with Children's Medical Center Dallas.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Children's Medical Center Dallas. The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas designates this educational activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢. Physicians should only claim credit commesurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Disclosure

It is the policy of ACCME that participants in CME activities should be made aware of any affiliation or financial interest that may affect the speaker's presentations. Each speaker has been requested to complete a Disclosure Form. The names of faculty members declaring potential conflict of interest or off-label discussion will be shown in the handouts.

Off Label Disclosure

Because this course is meant to educate physicians with what is currently in use and what may be available in the future, there may be "off-label" uses discussed in the presentations. Speakers have been requested to inform the audience when off-label use is discussed.

CNE Contact Hours

Children's Medical Center Dallas is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements towards re-licensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas. Children's Medical Center Dallas provides up to 11.5 contact hours for successful completion of this educational activity.
