Children's Medical CenterOn Aug. 15, Children's Medical Center will host a seminar for school nurses at the Region 10 Educational Service Center. This conference will allow school nurses to increase their knowledge in the area of pathophysiology in children with T1DM. They will have the opportunity to learn about the ongoing clinical research studies related to T1DM in children. They will also learn coping strategies in dealing with children with diabetes, and learn the factors that contribute to a child's progression from pre-diabetes to diabetes.
