Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Children's Medical Center. The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The presentation "Growing Up ECMO" has been designated by The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas for 1 hour of education in medical ethics and/or professional responsibility.

Children's Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). This program has been approved by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) for a maximumof 6 Contact Hours, Category A, File number 001-02-09 when completed in its entirety.

The presentation "Growing Up ECMO" has been approved by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) for 1 Contact Hour, Category O, File number 001-02-09. Partial credit will be awarded to those who attend a portion of the conference.

Off-label uses

Because this course is meant to educate physicians with what is currently in use and what may be available in the future, there may be "off-label" use discussed in the presentation. Speakers have been requested to inform the audience when off-label use is discussed.
