Noemi
Aguilar RN, BSN Children's is helping nurses |
Nurse Noemi is more than a caring face at Children's. She's also become instrumental in helping open the doors to Filipino and other nurses ready to be a part of one of the world's leading pediatric health care organizations. As the first international nurse hired, she decided to permanently be a part of the Children's family after completing her contract. Having worked as a pediatric nurse for 16 years in Saudi Arabia, Noemi joined Children's in 2004 and immediately made a huge impact as a member of the inpatient cardiology team. Today, she's an integral part of the pioneering neurosurgery and plastics unit. Children's puts all new recruits through extensive onboarding and training to help make the transition to Children's – as well as life in Texas – as easy as possible. In addition, Children's helps with moving expenses through a relocation package. "When you talk to these nurses and see their dedication, you just know the difference they can make here at Children's. In the lives of our patients, their families and each of us," said Roxanne Baier, Clinical Educator at Children's. |
