At Children's Medical CenterNew Registered Nurse Graduate Internship
RN Internships are designed for new graduate RNs and experienced RNs who want to specialize in pediatric nursing, pediatric critical care or neonatal intensive care. Internship opportunities are available in Critical Care, Emergency Services, Acute Care Medical and Surgical Pediatrics, NICU, Hematology-Oncology and Perioperative Services.
The program provides theoretical concepts and clinical expertise. Coordinated by unit-based staff educators, RN internships include didactic content and a clinical preceptorship.
To be considered for an internship, you must submit:
- A resume
- A Children's Medical Center Dallas online employment application.
- A Texas RN license is required prior to employment.
In addition, new graduates must provide:
- An official transcript
- Two letters of recommendation from clinical instructors, including one from your pediatrics instructor
The interview process begins in October for December graduates and in March for May graduates.
